How It Works

During our initial consultation, we will discuss your goals and requirements for the project.

For example, we will need to know what goals you hope to achieve with your website, what information the website will contain, what features the website needs to have and much more.

We will also outline the 3 main stages of the project which are:

  1. Content & Design
  2. Website Development
  3. Hosting & Support

The outcome of this meeting will be a Project Specification that defines the project from beginning to end.

First of all, we need to make sure that you have all the required assets to create a website.

This includes:

  • Company branding and logo
  • Photography
  • Written content

In some cases, our clients already have all of these assets in place.

However, Gromedia are more than happy to help when assets need to be created or improved.

Once all the assets are in place, we are ready to build your business website.

We are able to tailor the website to your exact requirments.

You may wish to consider these questions:

  • How many pages does your website need?
  • What features/functionality does your website require?
  • Do you want a New/Blog section?
  • Do you want a Portfolio/Case Studies section?

Once the website is launched, Gromedia are able to provide ongoing support.

Firstly, we can host the website for you ensuring the very best in performance and reliability. We can also help with the regular maintenance that keeps your website healthy and secure.

Secondly, we are able to help with a wide range of website management tasks including:

  • Website updates
  • Content creation
  • Improving features and functionality
  • Optimising the website for superior SEO
  • Monitoring traffic levels and other stats

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s involved in building a website?

All website projects start with an initial consultation to establish the requirements of the project.

After that, we will begin to gather everything we need for the project such as written content, quality imagery/photography, all brand elements such as the logo, and anything else that will appear on the website.

Once all these are in place, we begin to build the website.

When the first draft is completed, you are given the opportunity to provide feedback and request any changes.

Once you’re happy, your website will become live!

How long will it take to build my website?

Typically, a business or e-commerce website will take 4-8 weeks to build.

However, this will completely depend upon your requirements.

Naturally a 100-product e-commerce website will take much longer to build than a 12-page business website.

During your consultation, and once we have established your requirements, we will be able to give you a more specific idea on timescales.

How much does a new website cost?

This really depends on your requirements but, as a rough guideline, business websites can start at £695 + VAT, whereas, an e-commerce website starts at £1495 + VAT.

This price will increase if you also require us to work on the website assets (e.g. branding, written content, imagery, etc.).

By providing these elements yourself, you’ll be able to save some money.

The cost will also vary upon the size of the website and how much content was needed.

Can Gromedia redesign existing websites?

Yes, we do!

We often work on improving existing websites as a complete overhaul isn’t always what’s needed, or required.

We’ll help you decide if a complete redesign or a revamp is best for your business at the time.

Will my website work on a mobile device, tablet and PC?

Absolutely!

All of our websites are “responsive” websites, which means they can be viewed on any device, no matter the screen size.

The layout of the website simply responds to the device on which it is viewed ensuring an excellent user experience.

Do you build e-commerce websites?
